Sanobar Valiani is a current Dean’s Merit Scholar at the University of Miami School of Law and was included on the Dean’s List. She is a Junior Staff Editor for the Inter-American Law Review. Her article The War on Gangs: El Salvador’s Playground for Human Rights Violations has been selected for publication. She also served as a research assistant for Professor Jessica Owley and is the President of the South/West Asian and North African Law School Association She has experience in real estate, land use, and corporate law.
Prior to coming to law school, she attended New York University where she studied Health, Human Rights, and Humanitarianism. She did neuroscience research at NYU Langone and provided legal aid to survivors of torture.
